Its finally done! All thats left is goin to pick her up. Its in michigan, I leave sunday nite for the 3000 mile trek to bring her back to Grand. I'll have her out for Memorial Day, should be easy enough for all you guys to spot, and as always stop by for a jello shot!

Now i just have to come up with a name for it. I had picked out EXCESS COMPLEX but everyone said it sounds like i have more than one complex..hahah.. One guy even suggested "the banana hammock".. i smacked him for that one..

ill be out in the cobalt saturday afternoon at the drip for awhile before we head to drowning creek to do some boardin..

You over at Arrowhead yet? Waterboy, you're at Arrowhead correct? What dock? We are now on Dock A. Maybe we'll get to meet up at some point.

The Carver is over there and Slim will be there this weekend. I have a slip but no boat to put in it and I am not moving it now that it has sold. It will sit on the lift until the guy comes to get it.

Did they get your lift installed yet?

Haven't bought one yet. We are still trying to get that part worked out. We're not ready to put it on a lift yet anyway. I am STILL waiting on my steering kit. Fingers crossed for next week! We are going to bring our dock box down and get it set up. I never did ask if they have showers for the docks down there. I'm sure they do. Have you seen them?

Do you go all the way in the back to go boarding?
I have to find a good place for my Supra and do a little boarding. I will have to drive from Ketchum Cove.

It looks like a started a trend with my yellow boat 16 years ago.

I usually ski right in front of lakemont in the shallows. You cant ski past lakemont anymore, they put up noskiing bouys, thats where i grew up skiing!



Jayhawk, Ya, im over at errorhead in the D or E dock, i dont remember, its the ****ty ones in the very back of the cove where the bridge goes over.. first docks on your right when you come in.. I just use it as a place to keep the cobalt out of the water and I LOVE the club there.. Ill be at the club saturday nite eatin..

Yeah, we haven't decided if we're going to join a club or not. Arrowhead and Cherokee both look nice. I think Cherokee is a little less expensive, but not much of a difference.

I just got back from the Lake. Still lots of crap floating around in the water. It seems worse around the dam.:(

i figured cherokee would be more expensive.. they have a much better pool and better live music..if i had it all to do again, id be over at cherokee personally..i love the crew at AYC but their taste in music has gone downhill.. still the best food on the lake but still no pool that they said they were building...no showers that i know of either..

Referring to their head chef....i can only assume its better than most.. Royal Bay, Ozzies, the Decks, etc. Ive ate most places, maybe im just hooked on their steaks and breakfasts..

No showers? How can they have a marina with no showers? The wife isn't going to be happy about that! :eek:

dont quote me on that one.. i just havent SEEN any showers.. i usually drive back and forth between the lake and tulsa so we dont really have a need for them...

i hear that if your a slip renter at Arrowhead (where the yacht club is) that you can shower down at the shower house at Arrowhead South... Dont quote me either!

It's good to see another yellow boat on the lake! I'm sitting on my new-to-me 272 right now - yellow and black! We'll be down in Woodard Hollow all weekend next weekend! Holler if you drop by.
