Thats cool! My wife and I went down labor day of 07 for the first time to GLOC and stayed on monkey island, we were not very impressed, we met way to many snobby people for our taste. But we figured we would give it a second chance and we went down and stayed at my buddies house in Grove a couple times this past summer and for labor day again and we had a much better time! I am not sure if it was the area we were in or what but it was like we were in 2 different lakes from the first time we went down in 07 to the times we went this year. Well maybe I will get a chance to meet a few of the GLOC and E-dock party people next summer!!!

Plus we like the fact that its only a 3 hour drive from door to door as opposed to going to LOTO, 6 hours towing if nothing brakes or goes flat on the way!

my development and office is in grove and I live on Duck Creek.... two totally different worlds although Woodard Hollow is getting better than Drip.

I guess the one thing i can think of that LOTO has over GLOC would have to be the naked and topless girls!!! Its to bad they cracked down on the nudity at GLOC... In any case I am ready for next summer already, hopefully gas prices stay down and I will really get to do some traveling!!!

Cool boat, i didnt know you were a laker or i havent seen ya out at one of the lakes. I spent alot of years at Grand and love it along with Table Rock which we keep a boat at now and Ozarks for just plain BLOWOUTS. See ya next year if Uglys has 09 Poker Run or somewhere else. Did you do Uglys 08?
