Good riding today Chad!

Had a great time. Sorry you had to babysit me a bit! I'll do better next time.:grinser010:

Tell Matt that my buddy will let go of the Gaerne boots for $120.00 + shipping. They are the SG10 in white and have less than 1 season on them.

RebarBox 01-03-2009 07:42 PM

Your welcome anytime.:cool-smiley-027:

I will let Matt know about the boots.

To a rock pit east of Grove. Matt has about 130 acres that he has cut two dozon trails thru with LOTS of other things (half bowls, water crossing, man-made jumps, etc...

Matt has a pretty nice set up.

We didn't take any pics. It was a really good place for me to ride though. The trails were all pretty basic, and it allowed me to get comfortable riding again. I looked like a little girl for the first couple of trails. I really need to lower the bike. I laid it over one time simply because I couldn't touch the ground (shutup Masher!). I was going slow, and the engine didn't even die.

his place does have quite a bit of loose rock being an old quarry. That made the hills a bit slick. I'm quite happy with my choice of bike for sure. The electric start saved me several times!

Maybe we'll take some pics next time we go (assuming I get invited again). I just bought the wife an expensive new camera for Christmas. Maybe I'll make her put it to work!

Man!

Some of that looks painful.:eek::eek::eek:

jayhawk261 01-05-2009 06:59 PM

That's kinda what I was thinking! I'm too old for stuff like that. I'll stick with the woods!

Keytime 01-05-2009 08:05 PM

I'm definitely not a threat for the win in Vet, but it's a good time and pretty awesome to share a track with the big boys before hitting the stands and catching the action with the rest of the spectators. H*ll, it's saying something just to put in clean laps!
Consider checking it out. It's good spectating. Many think it's more exciting to watch than Supercross (unless it was round 1 this past weekend, maybe :ernaehrung004:).

Wow

Not enough insurance for me, boys, lol.........:evilb:

Bought our permit today for the Stillwater 500. Anybody be up for a ride over there next weekend (assuming the weather is right). I don't know who's been over there, but it is supposed to be fantastic. I'm looking forward to it.

Chad? Keytime? Too far a drive for you? Anyone else?

I assume you're talking about 1/17? Definitely not too far for me. A few irons in the fire right now, but I might be able to make it. I have a number of friends up here in Wichita who hit the 500 on a regular basis. If I can make it, I'll see who else is interested.

jayhawk261 01-09-2009 11:21 PM

Yep, the 17th is what I'm talking about. that is assuming the weather holds out of course. I'll probably have my boy with me, and he's a stone cold beginner. hopefully the 500 will have some trails good for that.

Anyone who wants to go is certainly welcome. MC? Delo? I know it's not a track, but I think they have a track there. Where are ya Chad? I know you've got a ride BLee!

Let's see if we can put together a good ride!

Not sure you can take a quad out to the Stillwater 500. Well, at least I hope you can't. :party-smiley-004:
