Tulsa Storms This Morning

Everyone OK?

I saw a picture of a yellow cat buried under a fallen garage on Channel 6 just now. Looked like this boat that was with us at the photo shoot a couple years ago.

I hope everyone is OK.

Any damage at the lake?

Quinlan 05-13-2010 10:17 AM

The wife just text me too. All kinds of damage around 31st and 41st from MEM to 129th.
I headn to the lake shortly to ck my chit out!

WOW, not good 2 weeks before summer kicks off!

Sea-Dated 05-13-2010 12:33 PM

Just saw Mike, the owner of the Eliminator, interviewed on channel 6. Looks like he lost his garage and sustained heavy damage to his house. According to the news it was an EF2 tornado (111-135mph winds) that hit this morning.

Please let us know if you need anything.

Sounds like everyone is OK though.

VortechSS 05-13-2010 02:05 PM

Yeah I saw that yellow Eliminator on channel 2 also..

Thats a bummer

E Dock is on Grand Lake and is about 60 miles or so northeast of Tulsa. I have not heard of any major damage around Grand Lake from the storms that hit Tulsa.

masher44 05-15-2010 02:12 PM

nothing much at lake. just a bunch of branches and some trees.

Sorry to hear about the boat mike:eek:

Quinlan 05-17-2010 03:00 PM

I didnt see any damage around the lake. BUT I did see the water come up atleast 2 maybe 3 feet!! and thats what we needed.
Of course the gates are open so they will probably let it all out.

We're getting pounded right now:angry-smiley-038:

Good storms this morning and nothing spinning around. That is always a good thing.

Glad I got my yard mowed yesterday.

You don't have your kid cutting the grass yet:grinser010: What's the point in having them if you're not gonna make them do your dirty work?:evilb:

Robin won't let me put him to work until he is at least 3. :lolhit:

Too bad too because right now he is small enough to get between engines and change plugs and get under engines to do some cleaning and detail work.:party-smiley-004:

Since I am sure he will be "Cigarette Certified", I sure it will be high.

Of course the gates are open so they will probably let it all out.

If Southeast Kansas also got the 2.5" of rain that we got in Bville today, it will be coming back up in a day or two even with gates open. They only have 6 little gates open at the moment.
