Large, flat boat ramp?

Putting my boat (Formula 400ss) in the water on Wednesday.

Driver has requested a fairly flat spot, so there isn't a ton of weight dragging his truck into the lake.

I at first thought of the spot across from duck creek yacht sales, but I haven't been up to the lake in a while and thought that might be too shallow for the boat.

Other thoughts were:

Gran-Tara ramp
Hammerhead ramp
Bernice ramp

Anyone have any recommendations?

Clear water Bay in Raper hollow should work. Its pretty level not dropping off fast at all. BUT they have to cross dam.

The Bernice ramp would be a great choice, but I don't know if it will be long enough with the water this low.

Congrats on the 400SS!

They do launch big boats across from duck creek yacht sales you might check with port carlos that's where they put delos 580 in at.

Could you tell if the trailer stayed on the ramp or did it go off the end? I have no idea how long that ramp is and how deep is the end at this water level. It might be a good option when they have the water at this level to get the cats out of the water.

Hard to tell... I was in the boat and the other guy was backing the trailer down.

it was a 400ss on a myco triple axle trailer... Never felt like he dropped of the ramp... got the majority of the boat in the water, then I motored it off of the trailer.

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like the ramp is long enough or it does not have a dropoff at the end. Either way, it could be a good option when the lake elevation is down.

I think I pretty much just slopes off the whole way. I've seen some semi flat bed rigs there before and seemed like they were way down there.
