Bga update.

I have gone around the whole lake. It appears
To be on the north side. It is BAD in ketchum and
And very bad up around the docks at arrow head, in
The very still water.
The stuff is clearly visible. Even in the heat of the day up here.
It is retreating in the heat of the day in duck creek.

I have heard of rashes at local hospitals but no one
very sick as if yet. They have some beaches at Bernice closed
off, hopefully this stuff will run out of fuel and dissipate.
Don't drink the water or lick your trailer and I think we will all live!
Back to drinking!

Thank the chicken farmers!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.... do not feed the trolls! My wife works at Grove Integris, and NO ONE has came in with any rashes or BGA symptoms.

My wife and I just came in about an hour ago from a wonderful evening tubing with my 6 year old child. She, my wife and myself was on the tube this evening and we are not even remotely worried.

As Doc. Cox stated early this week 'don't eat the yellow snow'.

I am with you.

He also said ' I would be more worried about all the Urine in the water'

Great ones!!

ha, who knows then

Well that just shows how many stories there are out there.

We had a friend take his 2 year old niece to the ER IN
Grove Saturday night very VERY sick with a upper respiratory
Infection after a day in the lake with us. So maybe they are keeping stuff quiet? Now
In all fairness this child was not completely well befor this.
And it could have made it worse? Just be very careful.

So far between us we have 7 children up here ages from
3 to 12 and no one experienced any negative side effects.
But as with anything be vigilante with the little ones.
I am the same way "do not feed the trolls", but I have a
Close friend that is a micro biologist and he said in sufficient
Quantities this can be VERY BAD stuff for kids. And animals
Are very vulnerable to getting very sick if they drink contaminated
Water. So just be aware.
I will be in the water!

My Bga Update.

I forgot to post when I left Sunday.

I drove to the areas I personally could see the BGA last week, to show my brother what it looks like and it was all GONE. Arrow Head, was clean and duck creek was clean even in the morning.

We dunked what I call his "Auschwitz" kids (NO OFFENSE INTENDED). My brothers kids weigh about 12lbs and they are fine. So I am convinced we will not die.

The water actually looks VERY good. My Micro Biology buddy said when it completes its cycle, it will starve the water for oxygen and it will kill many other water born stuff. Hell maybe this lake will be CLEAN FOR A DAY.

We've been in the water every Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, since the BGA was announced publicly before the 4th of July weekend, & none of us have had any issues of any kind physically from swimming in the lake.

We even rode our Jet Skis North up the Elk River this past Sunday, expecting to see more BGA than anywhere else, & saw very little specs of it only once on the shore.
