It is a good way to keep the boat count down. Now a serious answer. Since neither poker run happended the year before I am pretty sure that they did not know that someone else was planning to have a poker run that day. Unlike LOTO, they do not have get any special permit or plan things like that. The good news is there are not any speed limits and you do not have to worry about making to much noise.

Exactly, we didn't intentionally schedule them on the same day. The Jacksonville Poker Run is June 1st, the LOTO 'Lake Race' is the next weekend (June 8) so it made sense to have ours on the 15th of June before it gets too hot. We are working on a solution but according to Poker Runs America and Everything Offshore Ugly's Poker Run is on June 28 & 29th.

It will be a lake packed weekend regardless. Looking forward to it.

It looks like Ugly's changed the date on their run to the 28th and 29th.

I see a problem with this date because this is the same weekend that the Support our Troops poker run is at LOTO. I do not think they will get many from LOTO on that weekend.
