Thinking about joining?
 

I've been on the LEOPA website and I have received the application from Scott. I also checked out the 2006 events. Some of the events would be tough for me and my wife to make. My main focus is getting together with others who have the same passion for boating. Currently, I keep my boat in Lorain, OH at Lakeside Marina. :rolleyes:

Go ahead and join .... You don't have to make all the events to benefit from the LEOPA membership experience !!! I live east of Cleveland (Mentor) and usually only make a handfull of events .... I can honestly say that I have met some of my best friends in LEOPA ... and have had some of my best times on AND off the water ! If you are a performance type boater , and like to HAVE A GOOD TIME .... You won't be disappointed !

ditto . . .great group, the pokerrun out of Put-in-Bay will be a good one to attend if you can make it. also we do a fall run in september to Kellys that is alot of fun.

Thanks for the input! Yes, I decided to join. Sounds like it will be a great experience. Yes, I'm into performance boating. (Formula 382 Fastech) :D

Glad to hear it! Mary and I dock at Cedar Point Marina and a lot of us hang out at Kelly's. We have a couple of nice Fastechs in the club. The guys that own these have been doing some dash and interior work they found a couple of direct sources for their projects.

BTW I grew up in North Olmsted (mom still lives there).

Welcome aboard, the runs are fun, friendly, and affordable. There are a lot of events to choose from, hope to see you at one or two. Donna

What is the cost to join? Any requirements? Kind of interested in meeting more people. We spend a few weekends at Put-N-Bay and Kelly's each year and thought it would be nice to meet more people with similar interests and just hang out.

I also run out of Lorain Ohio and was considering joining. I had filled out an application a while ago but it never actually made it into the mail. Somehow lost track of it. Can someone forward me an application.
