Lake Erie Offshore Performance Association. It's a club based on the Ohio/MI border, most of the members come from downriver and Toledo area, but there are several like myself that trailer out of southeast MI. We do a lot of events. Spring Poker Run out of Monroe, Main Run out of Put In Bay, Fall one out of Grosse Isle and into St Clair. We also have weekend trips like Labor Day to Kelly's Island and this one to Hazzards. It is a pretty good club and the events are very affordable, the majority of the members sleep on their boats, we have some nice boats but are not full of a bunch of fancy MTI's, Skaters, and Outerlimits. We do have a lot of cigs in the club, and a few really hot boats but the majority of us have a standard offshore. I was thinking East China might be more in the down river area, so the club might be to far for you, but here is the link http://www.leopa.com/ However if you like going to the islands it might be a good club.

There used to be a sister club on Lake St Clair called MOCA (MI offshore Crusing Association) but that fell apart about 10 years ago. Do you go on LSCN that's a mix of boats but you really can find out what is going on in your area. BTW Ian and I have a slip reserved for the St Clair race so maybe we will see you there. Donna

our's is at the public marina. We were there last year in the main part where we walk across the bridge to get to town. I don't recall where Murphy's is but I am sure we will find it.

If you see us at the Casino say Hi, you will usually see several OSO people there. Have a good weekend.

I just got back, but I drove down and rode back on my dad's cruiser.

Was a nice 4.5 hour, 17 mph ride back!

Looking for some advice.....

I will be in Put in bay the weekend of 8-24-07 through 8-26-07. I want to hit up some other spots in the area that are worth seeing. We are aware of the Cedar point area and will be going there however I know of no other spots.
Can anyone offer any suggestions on other good spots to check out in the area??
