If you were out last Sat. you would have a good idea why this makes sense. Especially with all the Border Patrol, CG, Sheriffs etc.............. It was crazy just going in and out of places anywhere and everywhere !!!! :)

We have the lake, Marinas and restaurants to ourselves. Not much traffic on a weekday. It's also easier for the stops to coordinate room for boats and all the people. These events support Special Olympics so there's a good boat count. Taking a day off work to boat is priceless. :drink:

Do you have any more information about the put-in-bay run? The leopa site is not very clear at all about times + dates + locations :drink:
