Grand traverse bay this saturday, where are the good spots as well as best launch for a offshore ?

I lauched in Elk Rapids last time I was in that area.

Launched at Elmwood last time we were up there, on west bay just north of TC. Great launch, plenty of room for 40'+ in my opinion.

Very big launch and lots of parking. Most people hang out in front of the Volleyball nets on the south shore of West Bay and also the East side of Power Island.

Elmwood it is, any good destinations to visit ?

I just launched outa Suttons bay last saturday and shot over to this spot about 3 miles south of elk rapids on the east side of the bay. Called petebago(or somthing like that) Its a cool sand bar where quite a few people hang out.

Was thinking of running up to Charlevoix or petoski for a day trip and back.

Head over to Charlevoix. we are putting to gether a little poker run that will stay in Lake char on saturday. and then we will be hanging out in a place called oyster bay which isnt far from the mouth to lake MI. Come say Hi

BTW its called petobego which is just south of Elk Rapids
