Torch Lake this weekend & Labor Day

Just giving everyone the heads up in case anyone wants to meet up...288 KID and myself will be taking both our boats up to torch lake this weekend the 28th and Labor Day. We'll be out all Saturday, probably hit Alden Bar that night. If anyone wants to meet or do a day cruise chime in.

No boat required for 18-28 year old girls ( weight and looks strongly critiqued ), just so happens I have openings :-)

Posted 3 pics in the Sunsation section. Fish and I's videos should be loaded up today and links posted aswell

Damn I missed this before I left. We had a big group just East of the Burger Barge. What a great day!

I plan on being there this w/e. I am kinda tossing around the idea of bringing the 38. Reading some of the other threads about ramps. Maybe just use the small boat. Any thought? Ideas?? Recommendations?

I think Luhrs has a pretty good launch. Elk Lake is plenty deep but the damn dock is so short.

I hear just a bit up river is a nice launch. Intimidating yet very do-able. And he's got a 34 vyper

Luhrs has 38's drop in there all the time, plus you don't have to walk a mile to park your truck and trailer . Hard to get a slip there thou, alot of people pull their boats at night then just stay on them on the trailer. It's a nice up north and woodsy setting.Campfires and grillin.

Don't no exact temp but even at 1030am Sunday it felt perfect! As I went out for a morning rip and stopped mid lake for a swim.

5178962228- names jordan, hit me with a txt or something when ever I always got my phone on me. Service up there isn't so sweet for my sprint. Best bet is touching base with either me or fish prior to heading up. Pm's on here work well too since we get email notifications on our phones.

Drock78 08-31-2010 01:59 PM
