Yeah I'm not doing any border jumping with a boat that is not mine. One of my old race sleds ended up going to Canada and I was getting calls at work from the guy I sold it to freakin out cause the kid he sold it too was having issues at the border. And 47' is prolly exceeding my single rear wheel 3500 truck capabilities.

With a little research and planning ahead the trip wouldn't be difficult, customs would give any info needed ahead of time if you called. You will need a bigger truck however bc the 2006 duramaxs aren't rated for that big of load, so towing in WI would be illegal... not sure of Canadian tow laws. Good luck

thanks, I planned to meet at the border and have the paperwork pre-released thru RIV. I have a 96 3500 dually but its too small for 15000#.
