How fast did you run? To see the yellow Pantera you will have to come to the garage, LOL it is done for the year. We went to the Bay on Saturday and the Browns game yesterday. That was one great weekend. Awesome weather for the middle of October.:drink::drink:

We had 6 adults and 2 young kids on board, so I didn't get to run to the ragged edge. We saw a best of 72~73 with conservative trim and driving. I'm pretty happy! I bet PIB was awesome, we are still going to plan on hitting Kelly's for Halloween wx permitting.

Artie, what day are you heading north for the Halloween weekend? You wouldn't happen to have a moisture meter would you?

We may try to head up late Thursday night, but more realistically we will be going up early Friday afternoon. I always get stuck working for a few hours on Fridays.

I don’t have a moisture meter, and honestly don’t know anyone local who does. I have looked for one to borrow in the past, and tried almost everywhere.

I guess no one brought a camera or cell phone

I brought a camera, didn't know the batteries were dead. I would guess 20 or so boats showed up. It was a bit windy, there were several V hulls running around making a lot of noise, saw Kunkle's aiming toward the sun. A couple of Daytona's, I was told the blue one ran 106-108, red one was somewhere in the mid 120's. One Skater I believe, never saw him run, can't say how fast. Not a bad turn out, nothing like years ago, wonderful economy I suppose.

The same sailing club that opposes the annual shootout on Alum Creek took $43,500.00 in Clean Vessel Act (CVA) Grant money to construct their facility, On the requirement that this facility be open to all watercraft. Since 2004 the Sailboat club has denied access to all power boats, and refused to provide a place for them to park. CVA grant money comes from power boat fuel taxes and is intended to provide sanitary facilities for all watercraft to keep the waters clean. Help me right this wrong by signing the petition below.
