That's Bolles Harbor. It is a nice ramp, but for some reason I didn't think they allowed overnight parking...I could be wrong tho.

A group of us are heading down next week, I've never been there yet but it sounds fun :evilb: from what I've found out the state ramp in Monroe ( exit 11 off 75 ) is a good jumping off spot, about 50 miles from there....have a good time :boat:

Did that trip in my old sonic and had a blast! We were going to the river for a party though so kinda bassackwards of what you're doing.
Make sure and take plenty of bumpers and line for PIB. Mandatory rafting and tons of drunk people w/borrowed boats if you know what I mean. |
I think Monroe is going to be the best bet for us, that way I can take 275 around and avoid going through Detroit. Anyone know of a good launch spot there.

you can over night park at sterling state park or trouts marina

so bolles harbor is a no-go? i have parked at other dnr launches overnight with no problems. seems strange they wouldnt allow it.

Went out of Sterling State Park and had a ticket on the truck when we got back on Sunday for parking overnight. I guess you need a $10 special use pass to do so, the passport sticker doesnt cover it. I wish they would tell you this crap, now I have to make phone calls and fix it or get a CI fine. Dealing with the state is such a PITA. As if leaving a truck overnight in a 400 spot parking lot is a big deal, especially if you have a state park sticker.
