We are putting together a Poker Run on Saginaw Bay this Summer, and are looking for input, ideas for a cool name, etc.
Any thoughts are welcome!

I may be willing to help out if needed. We (a group of local boaters/friends) have discussed it in the past. Biggest hurdle if it is an organized event is liability. Shoot me a pm, I have run in a few and put together a fun run so I have lot of ideas and folks to bounce it off. PS, if your EC is the blue one at the marina that is an awesome ride.

Nope, too much No Wake Zone to get to Hooters and back out.
the tentative course is: Leave from Linwood Beach Marina,
First card stop is in Augres Harbor, 2nd is Bouys 1 and 2, third is Saginaw Bay Yacht Club, 4th is Castaways, Final card back @ Linwood Beach Marina for Dinner/Awards/party

it would be nice if it was somewhat affordable, I have a lot of freinds that go to lake cumberland because the cost is much easier to take, every poker run in mich (besides lake st. clair) seem to have a hefty price tag

Sounds like it would be a blast if you can get it organized. I know a few people that would be interested.
I will have to agree with Smitty as you know the bay can go from flat to 6ft within a half hour. I would suggest an alternative for cast aways. I know this will be a turn off to some due to water depth. I personally dinged up a prop(s) entering the mouth of the Kawkawlin. It will also be difficult for some of the longer boats to manuver at the same time near the docks.

I think thats would be a great place for a poker run i spent many years boating around caseville. That would be cool to add them to a stop. Keep me posted i would love to bring the Nor-tech back to those waters. Finding the right weekend will be the key.
