It did seem alittle different then in the past years. Bottles and cans everywhere, people were just sinking them, kinda trashy.

Who is going the 18th? You might want to put this in the general section, maybe more people would see it.

It was pretty much a dirt fest last year when I went, not all that fun imo.

I would possibly join in on the 18th and then maybe head to PIB for the night. I would be in a SeaRay since the Gun is far from operational, if you guys can tolerate that? It would be cool to meet up with some people. We could organize a group to head over to PIB or Kellys after.....

Cool. A word of advice, do NOT cut through Bay Point at the marina. With the lake being down slightly this year it gets quite shallow. I drug the props through mud for about 100 yards coming from Kellys, through the marina then out towards the sandbar (just outside of the marina heading south). You will have to go around the south point of the sandbar through the channel next to Cedar Point and out North towards Kellys.

stay way out around the tip of the sandbar do NOT cut between the channel marker and the tip or you will be sitting there for a while

I think it was two years ago when a large Carver? beached it right where you're talking about. I saw it as I was driving by. The sandbar has either grown, or it was never properly marked, keep your distance. Even a jetski can get hung up there.

Ya it changes every year. Just have to be aware
