I did a bunch of work to the boat over the winter and got way behind. I'm hoping to do a shakedown run on the boat tonight and if all goes well I should be heading to Torch tomorrow. If it doesn't go well I may just say fawk it and hop in a buddy's Checkmate.

[QUOTE=ajfisher;3710141]I was simply poking fun at the fact that every dominator that rolls just happens to come apart like a pretzel:lolhit:
I don't understand why you or any of the other naysayers on this thread think that it is unreasonable for any boat to have some type of damage after a stuff, spin out, rollover etc. and especially if the boat goes down. The boats have to be turned over and pumped out and then lifted out by a hoist with who knows how much water still in them. I see that you have a Powerplay now....I am a big fan of their boats but maybe you have not been around the boards long enough to recall the very tragic accident where a 33 Powerplay apparently stuffed and as a result of the accident 4 of the 5 passengers on boat were killed. The boat was pretty much destroyed with most of the deck and bow blown off. I don't care who the manufacturer is if a boat spins out, has a rollover or stuffs at a certain speed, angle etc. there is a good chance damage is going to result from it and people will most likely get hurt. I have listed a link below to the story on the accident. http://www.naplesnews.com/photos/gal..._marco_island/ |

33 powerplay integrity has been questioned!
O, o, o! Do mine next do mine next! |

O, o, o! Do mine next do mine next! There were 2 PP's (1 race, 1 pleasure) that were involved in fatal accidents. Both were suspect of hitting the bottom after they were stuffed at high speed and blew apart. |
