iPhone App for Great Lakes

Another thread on a separate topic…

I have the Surfing Lakes app on my iPhone. Has great info on Buoy Data, Wave Forecast and so on for all the great lakes. Was curious if anyone else has this and how accurate it is?

Yea, shocked how well it articulates everything for a free app. I was curious if anyone had it, if it was accurate...

NOAA isn't very accurate so if it's based off thet I don't think so. What is very cool is the real time animated weather radar, either for your current zip-code area or for the entire Great Lakes Loop Sector. That radar will tell you a lot more.

i like motionX GPS its like 1.99 for well worth it, you can download the maps on your phone so if you dont have celluar service you can still load maps. The iphone has built in gps and the maps show markers
