Where is the best public boat launch on Lake St Clair?

1. Lot of choices,,,, Start with metro beach
metropark
very protected place to launch, with a small canal ride
to the lake

16 mile road and jefferson harrison township mi

2. the end of south river road also harrison township
very big launch with lots of parking, very short drive to lake.

3 . 20 mile rd (hall road) and jefferson, north side of the lake chesterfield township

End of South River rd is the best. If your coming from the north there is a decent one north of Selfridge ANG. We will be out Sunday

+2 for the end of South River Rd / Clinton River launch. It's called Harley Ensign. It's big and has lots of well-lit parking.

I'm not wild about Metro only because it's smaller and not as well laid out. It turns into a fuster cluck quickly on weekends.
