What else is there to do?

The trip is more than worth it.

However, won't be making the trip this weekend, have to do battle with Mother Nature.

I may go up to see the Ganonoque "fun run"

Well I would like to know when they are supposed to dredge St.joe. Hitting the bottom hard now trying to get to the lake and back. Real bad by the Benton Harbor docks just past the DNR launch. Giant stinkin log sitting in the way as well.

It's so late in the season, and nothing is set up for dredging; I don't think it is going to happen. In a way, I hope they don't dredge this late. whatever they do, the winter thaw water will shoal it all in again anyway.

I live in the condos north of the launch. There's some mighty big yachts going and coming from 1000. They draw way more than you do. Maybe you just need to find the right path?

I'll try to watch which way the launch and let you know after this weekend.

Oh I have been behind some of them they are kicking up some major mud as well. You have to stay right next to those docks or it gets shallow quick. 2 boats going through at the same time not enough room.

I think I just had my last weekend on the St. Lawrence. I had 3-4 inches of water under my boat cradle when I splashed this past weekend.

I won't be up for another 3 weeks and I am guessing that the water will drop at least that.

It was fun while it lasted.

I moved mine out of the big cradle lift and over to my davits 2 weeks ago because I knew I wasn't going up last weekend and was nervous the way they are drawing the water down. I am pulling it Sunday hoping to burn some gas in it one last time and then cleaning it up to sell. Need to figure out how to get the big lift into another 4 feet of water and get some removable dock for the next boat
