91+ OCTANE gas available Milwaukee/Racine, or Generally?
Looking for: HIGHER than 89 octane gas in Milwaukee area on Lake Michigan!
All I've been able to find is 89 octane, which for supercharged/high performance engines is not good. Not good can mean lower performance, or cracked pistons etc.
We have 700sci's.
Does anyplace have 91 or 93 octane for sale ON LAKE MICHIGAN or MKE river, or even in Racine?
Yes Mercury can reflash computer to lower performance 89 octane, backs down ignition a couple of degrees. Sure, let's just take the superchargers OFF the motors, while we're dumbing them down
This thread is NOT about that route, please move along with our thanks, if that's your bag.
How is it in Chicago and elsewhere on Lake Michigan?
