PIB Labor Day Weekend...
 

Hoping to get there Friday before it gets dark, probably B dock. Looking forward to some good weather, along with watching some college football, OSU of course, and celebrating my bday:evilb: Anyone else going up?

might be real crowed up there this year suppose to be a bunch of old ships in port for a war of 1812 reenactment on labor day i know they said at least 3 at PIB and up to maybe 15 or or scattered around the islands

Dale was saying something about that. Good thing we are planning to get there Friday. Should be fun. Heard OSU marching band is goings to be there Sunday too.

When you going to be on B? Didn't you say something about going up early?

Hope you guys get a spot. Golf cart poker run on Kelleys on Sunday. Friends called a the end of June to make reservations at Portside and they were already booked. The other marina where the ferry stops wouldn't take reservations. First come first serve. Islands are gonna be packed because of the tall ships. Pretty cool...kinda. Cool if we can get a spot :eek:

From what we were told you better get there a lot earlier than Friday evening, like days earlier. I also called everywhere up there six weeks ago and they are all booked. We have a few boats talking about finding a spot in the lake and rafting. Hope the algae blows away by then.

Maybe I'll switch my day off to Thursday and take the boat up early then ferry back for work on Friday. I don't think I can get the gf to get Friday off.

Hmmm..............

I wouldn't be able to make it until late Friday....so am I better off just waiting for New Years or Halloween? We are gonna try and get over there to see you guys this fall...
