If you only knew. I didn't say much all winter mainly because I couldn't stomach it. Let's just say the tanks were probably the easiest part of this last endeavor, well except for Dave having to remove them..... There's much more to it. And yes, everything is now new, except the original fiberglass skin which is about all that's left. And even then, there have been significant replacement and upgrades to the "bones" of the boat.

Quick whack of original parts left;
1. Hull sides
2. Deck
3. Cabin Door
4. Most wiring for gauges and cabin lights.
(Yep - I think that's the short list)

Would have just been easier to get something post 2000, but what fun is that?

I was going to say something to that effect Dale. "I dunno, biggest baddest Cig around?" J/K Tim.

Just did the math, your tanks would be around 105" long if that were true, I believe our tanks are the same, same stringer layout and bulkheads (well, not anymore)... Mine are now 81" long, I believe we took 10" length out of them, and what I based stock figures on. Maybe yours are mis-calculated? Seeing your receipt at 103 gal and you said they were dry, makes sense. OR they were "dry" with 27 gallons still in the bottom.... THAT, or my numbers are way off. But I do know what I now have and just double checked. I can double check length of the original tanks, they're sitting in the shop somewhere ready to be tossed in the scrap bin.

I am in boat now, I will try to grab pic of tags, there are things oddball on mine being one of the first ones, like now I’m putting closer back together, fixed water tank, shorty after mine you would have to cut liner apart, my closet is built by hand that’s why I don’t have the issue of the liner not tabbed like most, you can get to it on mine, not others

Yes, you may have bigger tanks. Completely plausible.

That sounds right Tim. I noticed the tanks could be a little wider when we had it opened up. I'm sure years differed, and yours being constructed differently, no notch, different liner setup, etc, makes sense.

I'll snap some pics of my old tank tags before I pitch them. My Cig had two different tanks in it! Ha!
