Once we leave Kelly`s Island on the 6th of July we will load the boat in Leamington and head to Sarina for a Poker Run on July 9th. Sarnia Bay marina is the host location its Great Marina and it has a pool . second year for this charity run open to all boats you don't need a 500K rocket to participate. Last year is was the same weekend as the International Power boat Festval this year it has it own weekend. would be great to see some of you Ohio boys come up the river to Sarnia for that weekend ...
Been to Tobermory and Sarnia many times.

Have studied the Trent Severn too and it looks like huge fun but not sure about the time.

A good Canuck friend had me geeked about it yrs back until I laid it out and asked around.
Everyone agreed it was more time than I had.

Used to go to Leamington for Pirate Fest yrs back too.
Love the Canadian water, Scenary and people.
Y'all live in Gods country up there.

Ok ..So 1989 Mach1 does have a point I may have to stay one day and night in town before retreating to the Seaway. Living close to the border and spending a fair amount of time in the US makes me feel that we both have good and bad in our two countries. Canada would not be as strong and prosperous if we didn't have the US next door. They are both beautiful countries and I have seen a lot of yours, my daughter and her family live in Boston and I have two grandchildren with dual citizenship. Enjoy hanging out with all my US boating friends on the St Lawrence River always a good about time talking about taxes and politics never religion..........P.S .great photos of the bar and harbour ........Mike

No argument from me.
If you own a go fast boat, and are in the area, the Casino is a "must experience" destination.

On the US and Canada, I remember drinking on the back of Canadians boats at Pelee Island 15 yrs ago while listening to them ***** about their socialized medicine and stories about them getting their care in the states accordingly.
Now we have that wonderful system here cuz non of the Yanks would listen to me

Also remember staying at a cottage on the island and it's owner going on about how great he thought president Obama is all while my wife is squeezing my arm to keep me from educating the guy

I really enjoy seeing/experiencing the differences in cultures.

Also remember going to the marina in Leamington for the first time and how it renewed my faith in young people. Maybe Canadian young people
We were greeted at our dock by three teenage dock hands waiting to help us like we were checking into to a 5 star hotel. And then walked away w/o asking for a dime for a tip or dockage. (Took care of both at their office later)

We were used to the US islands where you were greeted by smart ass dock hands with their hands out.

Keep us posted on the 30. They are cool boats.

I see you have a Marinette, they also are cool. Quite a few here on Chautauqua Lake.
