You know its cold outside when...

…a 10in icicle on your front bumper doesn't fall off doing 70 on the interstate.

… after working all day in the cold you come inside to grab a cold beer out of the fridge and it feels warm.

-6 when I got home from work. Unreal, this weather just won't budge.

I actually took out the trash at 3 degrees in a t-shirt and it didn't even feel cold. It's obviously been cold for too long! Brookfield (suburb of Milwaukee) has had 31 days this winter season that the temp has gone below zero.

The fog froze to the tree's....................................global warming sure does look weird

Images like these keep me in the frozen tundra. That and my hut tub. Skanks like these too. By the way, it's NOW called climate change.

....when 25 degrees feels like a heat wave.

....when it hits 35 degrees and you don't need a coat because your blood has the viscosity of Mobil 1 30 weight. .

Kinda like when you bust your knuckles wrenching, and it takes 3 minutes for it to start bleeding.

That's because it's American dishwater. You need a good Canadian beer. :)

Irishtornado 02-15-2014 03:24 PM

Great Lakes are 88% frozen over they're expecting them to freeze completely over this year. Be the first time since 1994

lightning jet 02-15-2014 08:11 PM

I was thinking the same thing until I saw something on the weather channel about the majority of the water in the seas are above average temps, claiming it to be one of the warmest winters. I guess just the Great Lakes are getting screwed.

1989mach1 03-06-2014 11:06 AM

it sucks for all of us but is giving u more time to find your new ride with out rushing.... good for u bad for us

bigboat28 03-06-2014 11:41 AM

Maybe it does not suck completely, I was told that this ice cap on the lake is actually good. He said it is keeping a whole lot of water from evaporating and will actually help with water depths this summer. Hopefully he is right. He runs/owns a marina and I think he knows what he is talking about.

s022mag 03-06-2014 12:10 PM

I agree. Usually they lower the water at alum but with all the cold and snow fall they haven't been able to. The water has been up the whole winter, frozen too. When spring hits we'll be set.

And yes plenty of time to find a boat, just not much out there in the dead of winter.

314joey 03-06-2014 03:11 PM

You know it's cold outside when there's two foot of snow.

Do alot of people not even bother putting their boat up for sale in the winter?
