I like to do PIB on week-days when you have a little elbow room and can get an actual boat slip. Level 2 is great for getting dirty dances and the bar that is behind the strip a ways that many don't know about (forgot the name) is cool. The other bars on the strip all suck. Buy your t-shirts and stuff at the end of the season when everything is on sale! :)

I was actually talking to another member about getting a membership at a yacht club on PIB. It would be nice to come and go as you please and not have to worry about people walking on your boat, also the amenities are nice, I'm not to big of a fan of swimming in splash or the sand lot. I want my sister and brother in law to come up more often with there kids and if I had access to a pool with responsible adults instead of college students that would make it easier to get them up there.

+1 on the weekdays, it's been a long time since we went up on a week day where nothing was planned on the island. It's so laid back, calm and quiet, not to mention you have the docks to yourself. I'm working on getting on a 4 10 shift that would give me Sunday Monday Tuesday off, that would be a nice stretch up at Erie.
