Another Charlevoix Question
 

Hi Guys,

Our boat has pretty short legs if we get after it at all - How is fuel availability on the water up there?

Is premium available ? Locations ?

If the planets align we're going to try and spend the day up there tomorrow..

Local hotel/motel that has room for a couple boats ?

There is premium right on the water in round lake. Not sure about hotels..

They have what they call 90 rec in round lake but East Jordan at the south end of Lake Char, last I knew has true premium on the water!! Might call & verify!!! Also, the Charlevoix Inn & Suites just north of town has areas 2 park boats, Also the Americinn(sp) just a bit more east of town does also!!!! Look me up!! Tracy

But winter is the best time to get locked up; three hots and a cot all winter.... all the vagrants down state here try to do it and I gotta imagine up there, too, since it's colder longer.

We had a great time even with the less than "chamber of commerce" weather.

Unfortunately didn't have time to look anyone up - spent the day dodging storms and idiots…saw some assclown try to park his boat on the porch at the pub in Ironton and then acted like nothing happend…what a tool…I'd have been embarrassed as hell.

We found premium (or at least he told me it was premium) at the Marina in East Jordan.

What a beautiful area.. We're going to try and come back up on the 15th and hope for better weather.

We'll be in a white and orange Schiada. Flag me down and I'll throw you a beer.
