A little more info...
Anyway, I wanted to make the boat a little more user friendly, so we took this 1995 world record holder and stripped it all down (from the race set-up to a more user friendly pleasure version) from the helm station back to the transom. All the glass/resin/paint/messy grunt work that was done in my buddy's air hanger had gone as far as it could go there, and a few weeks ago I moved the boat to another shop just outside the GR area where more focus on assembly and re-rig will be concentrated on. The dash panel with all the new Auto Meter marine gauges, large screen GPS, starter ignition switches, and all the other switches needed is/are all wired up and ready to drop in the helm and connect. I thought the dash panel came out pretty good and looks really cool---we got a little bit of the carbon fiber look going on. Also, We just added/installed a shore power plug receptical and wired that into the latest Blue Sea battery charger available. Lots of wiring going on...new bus bars, terminals, fuse blocks, new on/off/combine 4-stud switches, Main switch, automatic charging relay switch and lots wire and battery cables. Dave W has the engines on the stands, waiting on a few more parts. Don't really know what else to say, but we're on it pretty good now. |
Sounds awesome.
