We enjoy boating but not fun when you have to shovel off the dock to board.

We're here n the boats in, tied/secured and ready for the weather.

We're taking a cab to Bell Mells to celebrate the beginning of boating season.

PS, the 2 yr old lab fell off the dock and spent the next hr hiding in the dinghy.

Shared a cab w/a woman that works at the ferry line and said first two boats of the morning are canceled.

We're thinking, a day of drinking on the boat, pizza delivered to the dock then a nap.

It just started snowing like hell.

I know how that works trying to get there before dark. We had stragglers from Cols wanting to follow us to the islands every yr and I could never get that point through to them. One yr on a Pelee trip, I left w/o them after explaining the 20th time it was the only way to get to Pelee before dark.
Guy assured me he knew the lake even though had never been to Pelee ;) I remember waking up, middle of the night, at anchor off beach at Pelee to someone knocking on the side of our hull.
Was them, they had totally missed Pelee, ended up in the shipping lanes north of the island and had to ask fisherman where they were.

PS, lets make a little north!
