Door County has some nice areas to beach and swim.

One good place to go is Chambers Island, in the middle of the Bay of Green Bay. Clean water, nice beach, sandy bottom.

Another good spots is the east shore of the Door Peninsula. Again, clean water, nice sandy bottom, waist/chest deep for 50 yards off shore at this spot. The kids love it.
