Default Large Ramps South Haven Area??

In the past we just launched at the Municipal ramp in S.H. and stayed at the M. Marina, but even with a 30ft boat sometimes it was a bit tricky. Highly doubt we can launch the new to us boat at 47ft at that ramp. Any idea's where we can/should launch from?

Plan right now is to launch at Pier 1000, leave the truck/trailer there for the week then run up to S.H by water, but we haven't been there or launched from there in several years.

Thanks!
Brent

I used to launch my 32' AT at South Haven years ago, and I know of some 40' boats launching there, but it can be a little tricky with the shorter docks for launching larger boats.
The DNR launching ramp on Riverview Drive in Benton Harbor (just down the street about 200 yards from Pier 1000, is a very nice launch that I have seen 51' Outerlimits launch from there---even larger 34'+ cruiser boats on trailers---and it is not affected by the river current there. It is much more accommodating than the South Haven launch.
