Mechanic needed in the Detroit area
 

Hi fellas, I just purchased a 2001 25 baja outlaw with 500hrs and i am looking to get my ducks in a row mechanic wise before winter hits. I am looking for the name and number of a good mechanic to just go over my engine with fine tooth comb and update some wiring. I am also looking for the name of good boat detailer....she is in excellent condition already but want it perfect. Thank you guys

Thank you Framer John for your prompt response, I will call him and get the ball rolling. Should have told you guys, she has the 496HO with 540hrs. She ran right around 68mph with two guys and 3/4 tank of fuel. Prop is a mirage 25p labbed and it seemed nearly perfect for the boat. Even pulled the kids and there cousins on a 4 person tube and it was awesome, of course i cut the exhaust off lol I will try and post pics of her later from my phone. Like I said I would like this boat as cherry as i can make her, thanks for the help guys!

Just quick update. Yesterday my wife had a haircut and color in the evening so i took my 3 gals across the lake to little muscamoot for a swim. It is so beautiful out there without all the bullsh*t, like 5 boats, heavenly! Anyhow, on the way to the bay I was playing around with my trim tabs and one of the indicators stuck about 3/4 way down. I adjusted from there based on feel, setting the working indicator to where i wanted it and adjust the other. This is a pain and the tabs may not be perfectly in sync! I would really like the one indicator fixed and the trim tabs looked at, the tabs did not seem as responsive as it should be maybe. Can't wait to post some pics for you guys! Thanks for your help

I've never seen a need for trim indicators on my boat.

Ok, so you just use them based on feel? Any tricks or tips? I know the indicators are not necessary but seems like to get them synced together quickly it would be easier if they were working. Thanks for the reply
