120+...

If the OL 40GTX ran 110+ with a full cabin and 650's, I dont see it out of reach for this to run 120+ with 700's and the right setup...

Love the paint by the way...

The SV43 does 120 with 700's and a half cabin. The Dragon being smaller but still epoxy but with no stagger will prob do the same and maybe a little more. Has a Dragon ever run that fast though? Limits of the hull??

Not Staggered?!?

Not sure, good question...

I know there was twin TCM900 #6 Dragon, even side by side that should out run a staggered 700/NXT setup...

I remember the original Dragon being a slug. Reports of the official top speed varied from 78mph(tested) to low 90's as stated by the manufacturer. I am not even sure what the truth is. Can anyone explain what the real #s are? Thanks.

most of the original ones were fine. from what i remember their were a couple diff company's doing the rigging and the one that one company rigged(erics) wound up being redone with the TCM and 6's.

I guess the closest comparison would be the black 40 ol SV that had JC 1200/900 what was top speed on that?
also Randy was upper 90's with the 525's on the KW poker run, and 50 on one engine. everything is there to have it be 120+. I personally think he will be very close to his number.

The Black SV40 ran right in at 140 with the big whipples on 525's.

Randy is a smart guy, I think he knows that he will have to stagger the motors to achieve his goal.
