Dont think my Formula is going to sell fast enough. I start building a new house in 3 weeks, so the last thing I need is cash tied up in 2 boats. Too bad for me, the Hallett has to go. :( This boat is awesome. If you have never seen a Hallett, I promise you if you saw this in person, you would be impressesd and buy it. I have been around a ton of boats, and in terms of quality, this one is at the top of the list.

A good friend bought a 38 Donzi used about 2 months ago. He spent a little more than what I have this listed at and he is just sick because this boat next to his Donzi (guys owns the shop the boat is being stored at) really shows how nice it really is. He wants the Hallett over his Donzi.

I put it on Ebay as well. So here is the auction link. I will have this sold very soon. If you are even looking for a boat, check this one out. You will be equally impressed as I am. If I would have went and looked at this boat a year ago (I didn't give it 2 seconds of thought back then) when i was buying my Formula, I would have bought this without question.

It has been discussed on another forum at length.

I guess it's so you can hop out when you are beached. I REALLY don't like the idea.

Last thing I need is people to have access to the cabin with SANDY feet!

Not to mention the big water/high speed concerns with a hole in the hull.

They run this hull with the side door in the Pacific all the time, never an issue. They also run Lake Mead where 6'+ white caps are common without issues whatsoever.

I would agree with you if this boat was running 100+, but with mild motors, 80 MPH is the top speed.

When entering from the beach, the door sits just a few feet from the sandy edge above the water. So you shake your foot in the water before entering the boat. Simply put a towel in the boat at the entrance of the door to dry them and you have no mess inside. It beats the hell out of having sandy feet on the deck of the boat scratching it up.

I'll be honest, at first, I thought the same of the door as you did. But now just using it even while it is on the trailer is awesome. I could load the entire boat without having to even enter the boat. Just set stuff inside the door and close it. The door locks from the inside if you want to restrict access.

Down to $143k. Whoever is serious and saw this boat in person would buy it on the spot. It is perfect. Cool features such as air ride front adjustable drop out bolsters!!!!

Will someone please show me a better deal on the market?

Jupiter Sunsation 09-21-2008 09:35 AM

OSO ad down to 138K........

Don't think it is a price issue. I would be willing to bet that you could ebay/oso list it at 99K for a week and you would still own the boat despite the power being worth 2/3's of the 99K ask.
Boat is not real popular (maybe out west but the rest of the country it is an odd boat), paint is nice but not memorable, it is not that fast (75 is your guess, factory says 80), it is really a 4 year old boat despite being new and in this economy at the end of summer anyone would be nuts to buy a boat! Fuel prices could be $10 a gallon next spring if Obama starts running this place, not that Geo. W hasn't left it in a mess of his own..........
