HTM Boats

Mike,
Had a call yesterday from HTM Boats and they were inquiring as if I might be interested in buying a HTM boat, I indicated that the only boat of theirs that I would be interested in would be a 30' Twin engine. they indicated that they have two of them ready for sale, one in nv and the other in calif, for me to come out and they would take me for a demo. Any truth in this? are they still making boats or are these ones that were made before Steve got killed? I talked to him about one but since, I just thought that they went out of business, No advertisments anymore, just thought they were gone, whats the true story??

There was a write up recently that they are staying in business and opwn. I think it was Hotboat or Powerboat mag.

Sorry if I'm off with the times but I had no idea Steve Colombe got killed. What happened? I dont have a tunnel but a friend that I don't get to chat with has one. This was a brilliant guy when it came to designing boats and I'm sorry to hear of his passing. They were going to get into v-bottom boats and was looking forward to seeing how they worked. Is there still any news about the V? Thanks guys!

I talked to Lia and Roy about a month ago.
Roy is taking care of the engine part of the business, Lia is doing what she had been plus probably more, and her brother is more involved that what he was when Steve was alive.
I don't know if they are building any 30's?? Roy said they were concentrating on what they did and do best. This is the SS and SR 24's. Sorry for the delays. Been on vacation and know working my second job so I can pay for my vacation:D
Hopefully the V's will make the line up and of course the 30. I really like this roomy cat. Just a tad out of reach. Not much. Just about 100 grand.
Had a lot of good comments on my SR at lake Cumberland in KY. People just can't believe the depth in the cockpit and the room in the cabin. ;)

tons of storage space also. The two facing seats has storage behind the back support and a very deep storage underneath the seat. The bed is very wide (not like V-Hulls). Two can sleep in comfort very easliy. The side storge to the left and right of the bed is huge. I am 5'10" and I can lay inside this storage area on the pass. sponson. The driver's side is a little shorter due to the sink. The sink has a 5 gallon tank.
On the outside their is storage on the sides and three compartments under the 4 person back seat.
Large storage bins can be placed in the engine compartment. Acess to any part of the engine is a breeze. Even the pump in the engine bay!
It's a nice package.
jcolby are you looking to buy?
