Looking at a SR24
I am looking to order a new SR24 hull. I was hoping I could get your feedback. I plan to run big power 1200HP+. How does everyone like this hull. Performance and cabin space is important to me. Also what drives and props are you using.
Thanks |

I'll PM you. What specifics do you want to know.

That's big power

You can't beat them for room. We sleep in ours during the summer months.

Since the time I started this thread. I have seen an SR24. Nice cat but the cabin is too small for me. Having no place to put your legs while sitting does not work for me. Overall Great boat with more room than its competitors. Thanks for the input.

that's one thing bad about a cat
It's going to take a big big cat to get leg room downward.
Now let me tell you about all of the plus sides of a cat. Sorry I can have only 5000 characters in this note so that won't be enough!:p |
You don't have to tell me about the benefits of a cat, I'm with you. The next boat will be a twin engine cat. The SL 306 is nice, but too much $$$. Sooner or later I'll have one. For now 100mph in my V hull ZT260 will have to do.

SL 306
Sweet ride and even sweeter cabin

Re: Looking at a SR24
Zt260, mine is still for sale and I have lowered the price to $49,000. I have over $100,000 invested into it. Must sell. I am building a new house. I need to free up some money. Check my post above.
