2006 388 Hustler Redesign
 

I saw a picture a while back on the New 388 Hustler Slingshot with a redesigned windscreen/deck.I cant remember where..Lou[LMarth] said he saw it also.

Does anybody have a pick?????

The SlingShot hasnt been changed..as far as i know the wind screen is that same too.

I was just at the factory and the only apperance change I saw was the very cool gunwell air scoops (I love the new look)... I know there are hidden changes I could not see.

just back from the factory again, change updates in no specific order

1) new seats are really slick.
2) cockpit ,gauge panel & dashes are painted to match outer paint scheam.(very well done two thumbs way up,oh I meen drinks ;)
3) wind deflector & dash area where the wind screen is mounted is changed.
4) the fore mentioned air intakes (now in the top 2 loved changes)
5) the wiring is even better than our 99 (don't know how they toped that! but they did)
6) the flat area that the batterys are mounted too has been extened from the outer stringers to the side of the boat about 1/3 of the way from the bulkhead to the transome.(looks clean, makes a great seat for empting the strainers or getting close to all that horse power :)

7) and my new #1 loved change standard equip on all 388's quick oil change pump, for motor oil changes in mear minutes= more fun time less down time.

8) there are so many changes from our 99 I can't list them all.

sorry this is so long , wanted to clarify that when I said the "only change in apperance that I saw was the air scoops," pertained to the lines of the boat.

I would never want it thought that I would in justice the hard work and attention to detail that Joe/ Marryellen and the crew put into there power boats..

My buddy is having his new 388 built now. It's just about finished. they will be displaying it in Miami, and he is taking delivery after the show. has 525's and Arnesons. He showed me pictures, but they were prints...not digital, so i cant post them.

Is this the boat you looked at in the factory?? Did it have dual helm setup, and have Slingshot painted on the sides??

strip after further review the dash has not changed. just the wind screen, our dash has the same support area for the wind screen.
yes you can tell your buddy peaple r going to do tripple takes when they look at his boat!!!

IT'S a KILLER RIDE!!!with some really cool tricks but I'm sure he knows this.
tell him congrats on the boat. color rocks!!!and from what I can tell it's done less the big shinny things, but I could be wrong....
