isn´t the NXT is only availible with the HP700 ?

I trust Joe, I think if it is a terrible setup he will tell me.

correct the new Merc700 only comes with the NXT drive and vice versa

But if he hasn't built one yet.He want know until he builds one.I would figure there would be some testing on the drive height?? 700hp on that boat would be a fun ride :D I am bad about just lloking and the bas stuff over the good :D


Frogger have you receive any 388's or 344's Hustlers with the Arneson set up yet? If so how did you like it???

Joe said there building a 388 with the 700's and was trying to get it to handle,something about cutting the second strake out instead of the last one.I would think this would help on the handling around 100mph or above ,but would hurt the cruising speeds.

Frogger has purchased (was at the Miami boat show this year) a 344 with 525's and ASD6 Kits.

The owner says they are running out of rpm at 102-103.

There is another one, 344, in Wendermere, FL that has the same 525 package and he also is on the bump box at 102-103.

Both have stock Merc 5 blade propellers. If someone could thin them down, only 525's, then they could probably run 105-107

Thats some pretty good #'s!!! I know the 344 has a differant bottom than the 388. Rik do know if there modifying the bottom on the 388's for your drives???

No modifications in the mold.

As with any of the 388's that run over 100, they modify the strakes.

Other than that the bottoms are stock. The 525's have a stock bottom as well as the 625 Ilmor's I belive.

we received a 344 and a 388 with Arnesons so far.

Currently they are building two 388 with V10s and Arnesons for me.

Yes the 388 with more than 600s and Arnesons have a slightly modified hull.

They modified my budies 388 with arnesons to make it more stable. Makes a nice tail
