mwdill 04-13-2008 08:45 PM

being freshened up from what i was told.

raceday500 04-14-2008 01:01 PM

Correct

yes that is the old Beetlejuice boat, was totalled by the Insurance company and heard a gentleman bought it from the insurance company and thought he could fix it. Looks as though the repair did not work.

Yes the 007 boat was here to be cleaned up and maintenanced for the upcoming season.

Not sure whether it hit something or what, I know it was damaged at the rear of the boat under the engine room. I do know the insurance company deemed it unfixable.

Came apart on the bottom off the coast of CA near Dana Point. They got it back to a slip and it sank there. The trailer is really nice and for sale though.

I saw the 007 on Brigantine Beach, NJ this weekend. I'm assuming there is only one of them so we're talking about the same rig. What type of power is in that monster? Approximate top speed?

BTW, there was a 38' Fountain that didn't back the boat off the beach quick enough with the dropping tide and wound up spending a few extra hours there waiting for the tide to cycle back up.

The Fountain is a sweet boat but, despite the fact that the Hustler was floating too, still no comparison to the 007.

525's and should run 88-90 set up right.

No, just swells in the water but it wasn't anything that the boat hadn't been in before.

Correct. I almost bought the 007 boat from the original owner out of the delta area of Northern CA.

Very clean boat and the trailer is killer too, a ton of cool features on the trailer.
