Since the cat is out of the bag elsewhere, figured I post it here.

I purchased a 2003 Hustler Cheetah from Shogren Performance Marine http://www.chicagofountain.com/. The boat came with 496 power, but I wanted 500 EFIs so Scott Shogren and I negotiated the trade. You cannot go wrong dealing with Shogren!!

Overall quality of these boats is excellent!!! Rigging is meticulous and the boats are very fast and capable. We are very pleased with the purchase and look forward to enjoying the boat on Lake Michigan and our local Chain of Lakes.

Currently running 30P props, but at the limiters, so I guess 32P props are required!! I have read alot about the boats and the factory has been wonderful sending me test data and color codes for the paint, as it needs some touch up.

Looking forward to learning more about Hustlers and talking with others in the forum. I read Strips summary and it was right on. All boats could use some tweaking.

This is a perfect boat for my family right now.

Awesome! I love the Cheetah's! The first go-fast I ever rid on was a Hustler 388.

What are guys seeing for speed/RPM with the Cheetahs?

I assume a 32P is the most they can turn.

i really like that cheetah! almost the sister ship to the slingshot we just got.
what speeds ya seeing?

MW -I am running 30P Bravos and am all over the limiter at 84 - 85 GPS...now 86 GPS

Hope to get some 32s to try.
