Hustler Info Needed
My Cheetah appears to have had a battery charger in it at one time on the Port side above the battery. I'd like to know what else this could have been?
What would it take to add shore power? What is the bilge painted with? Color code and Brand? What size and model numbers are the hatches in the newer models? Mine does not have hatches and its very warm in there!! The trailer Is not nothced for the steps and there are chips and cracks in the gel at the steps. Should I trim the trailer bunks for relief at the steps? Or was this simply caused by someone driving the boat off the trailer and not floating it off? Strip, use these as chapters in your "Hustler" book and I'll buy the first copy!! |
cheetah

Thanks Strip. Any idea what type of paint they painted the bilge with? Its not Awl Grip.
I do have an circuit panel under the rear seat. Didn see shore power plu though and no panel in the cuddy. I will fix the gel on the steps, and modify the trailer at least to get the pressure off the steps. I have a line on 525's that I might buy and sell the 500's. Any thoughts on that? |

It would be a 15K upgrade from the 500's. Not sure its worth it.
I see from your pictures that you have some chips out of your steps too Strip. |
