really like the Rocket in those colors |
Thinking of having my paint touched up and changing a couple things to look more like the more modern pain jobs.

Thanks for the follow-up photos the boat is gorgeous. Now can someone share their experience in the boat ie... how did it plane, roll over time, top speed etc...I know they were taking people out on runs. Damn like pulling teeth to get some info on this smokin boat. KAP |
out of all the 39's on the market...this one catch's my eye the best..Way improved over last years, alot of new improvements, and a killer paint job.. Id buy this boat in a heart beat..and with 700's...112mph kicks everyone else's azz.
Good Job Joe. |
Joe, the boat looked unreal at MIAMI....

Give us an update on how the Rockit rode? How were the water conditons? How would it like LOTO water or Lake Erie Chop? Thanks Steve |
Ride.
The boat rides like no other. Will run on plane at 17 mph. Very soft comfortable ride like a cigarette as it has no lower strakes, cuts through 3 -5 footers at over 100 mph. The boat never gets out of control or chine walks at high speeds. The average boater can drive this boat at 110 mph with ease. Very hard to explain how this boat rides, have had customers say she rides like a cat. Every female we have taken on this boat over 100mph has said they never once felt scared and loved the ride. To really understand you must take a ride in it.
To get a better description of how she drives call Rolf at ProRoc as he has drove the boat all summer long. Rolf is at heart a cat guy through and through and says everytime he drives this boat he is amazed on how this boat rides and handles and will slice through any kind of water. His number is: 732.477.7039 If you want a demo ride call me at 631-208-2933 Thanks, John http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...63_4709235.jpg |
Wish I was in Miami to go for a ride! Being former Slingshot owners and now own a Cat it would have been interesting to see how she handled. The Rockit in the booth looked great in the pics and as everyone has said a great improvement from the first one. Keep up the good work Hustler!! We were actually pretty close to being part of the family again but it just didnt work out. Also if anyone has time, go check out the factory. Its always a good time and Joe, John and the Hustler staff are great guys!!

John thanks for the response sounds like a great piece.

Raceday500:
Thanks--- for the follow-up information I spoke with Henry A. here on the west coast and he brought me up to speed:). The stability aspect of running this v-bottom at triple digits is in my opinion what captures my attention first and foremost---not to mention the reputation of the current builder. Raceday500 wrote: "never gets out of control or chine walks at high speeds" This boat is definitely at the forefront of our boating plans for the future--- perhaps a visit to the manufacturers facility is in order. Once again, thank you for the photos and the follow-up information. KAP |
Anytime
Anytime you need to know anything just give Henri or I a shout. Not a problem anytime.
