Outboard Hustler???
 

My friend is looking at a 38' hustler with outboards, I can't seem to find any info on anything remotely similar, I'm going to see it with him this weekend so will try to see what it is.
Any one know anything about these?

I was talking to a guy from the BVI's couple days ago who mentioned one. Not sure where abouts it came from or who owned it but said it was a 90-92 mph boat not saying its the same but one I have heard of

Im pretty sure a slingshot was never built with outboards! The old 32's have though.

I've never heard of an outboard Slingshot, but that's not to say one's not out there. I would suggest contact Joe at Hustler. If an early boat, Chip Fendt would be another good source.

At one time, Hustler did build the 32 with egg-beaters.

CB thought it was BVI's but possable it was him. A guy named Frank said his cousing has an OB husler like mine, but then converted it to 468 SC BB's that did 92. He sold it boat an OL and the guy who bought it put it back to OB thats what i was told.

there were only few of the outboards made
there was on for sale a while ago on long island was white and the name or owner had something to do with photos

that story sounds familiar
