50' Hustler winter project
5 Attachment(s)
I just wanted to share my winter project going from HP 500 with Bravos to 604CI and ASD-8's.
First I must thank the guys at Hustler Joe and Paul were a pleasure to work with and did an awesome job. I wanted my boat converted by Hustler. They had to cut out the transom and bottom notch to do this right. Then they started with an all new transom this giving me maximum strength and not just filling the holes. Great job the boat looks like it came from the factory with Arnesons. I also need to thank Rik at Arneson his expert advice got me through the rebuilding of the old ASD-8's. I started buying these parts and found enough to put 3 ASD-8's together. The photos below show what I started with and where I’m going. I just finished putting the ASD-8's together and my trim and steering cylinders just came back from being chromed so they will go together now. I will start installing the drives this weekend. I will keep updating as we go along. |
looks awesome......

that looks sick, the boat is gonna be amazing. I don't know if it is possible, and I have never seen it, but a set of chromed arnesons would look sweet!
