Cheetah at national liquidators
 

Hi, I was hoping someone over her could give me any info on the 34 cheetah that's at liquidators in lauderdale. It's got 525's and arnesons. Looks like a great package. Problem is I have very limited knowledge of hustler boats and would like to learn any thing I can about them. Thanks for any help. Having trouble posting the link

I heard it was a touch over triple digits. But you know how that goes. If my bud is accepted I will head down to sea trial.

yes that has to be over 100... 525/XR combo nets around 95 so anything short of 100 with surface drives would be a disappointment. Looks like a great boat, would love to have it!

Wondering how you made out. If this is the boat that I'm thinking of (maroon) it's only been in fresh water and has very low hours. The last I saw it advertised they were trying to get about $115 k. When I bought mine in 09 they had it listed around $199 if I remember right.

Still waiting on national liquidators. They say they have "someone" that was gonna bid higher. I call once a week. Just plying the game. I'm in no rush whatsoever and I have a pretty flexible work schedule so if and when they accept my bid I will fly down for a sea trial.

I went and looked at it it is very dirty what did you bid on it they told me it was on hold also the guy told me it would not sea trial one of the drives had a ripped boot so it may need some work I was going to bid $65000 on it

A few side-door deals and bid rigging issues have come up from time to time. Do a search here and you'll get a clear picture. Good deals HAVE happened but it doesn't seem like they happen to the members here.

It's really not that complicated with this boat. The owner claims it should not have been repossessed, so right now the lawyers are hashing it out. Thus the reason for the hold...

Any one know what happened to this boat

There is a reason there is only 90 some hours on it . A friend of mine owned it for less than a week hooked it in a poker run hurt his wife and ejected people . It had no cavplates on the drives then he traded it back to auqamania for a 340 searay Rick said they were going to remidy the drives not sure if that happened I never saw it again some of the arneson guys from pa know a better story from before my friend purchased

Yes they did put longer "skegs" on the drives so they had better steering and control during high speed running. I inquired about it and I got a run around from both Aquamania and National Liquidators. Both tell a story, but it appears it is still in control of lawyers, yada, yada.... So I purchased a Slingshot a few weeks ago. I did here the story from Rick about one of the owners almost losing the boat during a run and hurting his wife after owning it only a few days.
