388 Hustler interior lite lenses falling off
 

The lites lenses fall off. they were defective or a bad design. They are using a redesign model now. so far so good.you can buy the new ones from hustler or let me know ,i have the manufactures #.they are a direct replacement and brighter. :)

Do you own a 388 Hustler? If so, what are you running in it? I have a 1999 model. Have you had any other problems?

I have a 2001 388 Hustler with 500efi with B maxs. nothing Major just nick-picky stuff.front bilge pump ,rear bilge pump float switch ,the power wire going to engine hatch lift is to small ,the lites lenses,power running lite , sony amps crossover went out,the twets in the polyplanars blowing,They used cheap rca cables had one go bad,but there not in the stereo bus,just added some more amps and speakers,going to try to jam a little.

I bought my boat from a guy in Boston. I have dealt with Randy in the past. He is a stand up guy and I would have bought from him had I not found my boat.

I haven't had any real problems. Just little minor things. It's funny that we have found similar problems. My stereo kept shorting out and my cd changer won't work. I need to have someone look at it. My light covers won't stay on and my hatch raises in slow motion. I think it's a typical boating thing to have minor electrical problems. At least from my experience with other boats...

Overall, I love the boat. I'm running twin K/E 750's with XR's and IMCO lowers.

What's your opinion of your Hustler?

Got any pictures you could post? Here's one of mine from back in the winter. I've got some in the water on my other computer. I'll try to get transfered so I can post.

I have a 2000 388 Slingshot. 500 EFI s Bravo 1. The only problem I have is my trim tab indicators are leaking where they come in the back of the boat. Any of you guys having that problem?

water no. they were leaking at the fitting on the inside.i just snuged them up.

I haven't had any problems with them leaking.
