I would think the closet locker would be some long wires, plus its a closed compartment the stock location is open to the front bilge and the side gunnel and engine compartment, bigger air inclosure

yea i just found that area when i took the pass side dash off, it was going to be a long way to run the wires to the closet,so that would work better, i bought the new Mb quart silver and black 6 1/2's, think it's going to match the dash a little better.

i have fans on my amps they seem to work very well :)

I would go thru the side panel,bigger opening,the dash allen head bolts have a tendecy to chip the paint.

In the pick you can see I put a 12 light in there right above the 110 outlet, makes it handy.don't have to worry about a treble light:drink:

They probably make a LED type light now that would work better, less heat also.

Walmart has these, also they make a 50watt 1156/57 bulb makes it real bright in there.

yea , i went thru the side behind the switch panel, like the way they ran speaker thru the whole boat :D:
really made it easier,
they are Audiobahn's ,75x4 and 150x2, speakers look good in the blue side panels
