You need to get the new ILMOR logo onto that sweetheart. Get Ian or Paul Ray to send you the file. I have it on my home PC, but not on this one.

Heres my 710 powered Laveycraft 2750.
I love this boat, its just big enough to work offshore + its equipped with more navigation technology than the Enterprise yet its small enough to move around easy and be comfortable in any lake. The 710 is now at 100 hours after 2 seasons of use. I have had 100% engine uptime and it's run perfectly and starts instantly. Idles like a kitten, screams like a banshee, gets great mileage. Its an absolute blast to drive - putting on vulgar displays of power with enough clout to frighten your passengers and amaze and delight your buddies. I've run this boat in temps in the 40's and up to 115 out for HOURS and I've never seen the tiniest speck of soot on the transom- amazing. I would not hesitate to purchase another engine or series of them from Ilmor and highly recommend their engines when able to do so. "Uncle" Dave Sampson |
Nice post UD, glad to have you on the team

Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with... these V10's love the boost and are super reliable under pressure!

I think that the IndyCar program has some of the guys a bit busy right now. I guess everyone has their priorities. Mine's getting back in the water in a few weeks....

2007 Eliminator Daytona Coupe w/ILMOR 625's
3 Attachment(s)
Been on this forum for a few years and just now found the Ilmor section. Guess I'm not very observent.
I have a 2007 Eliminator Daytona Coupe with twin Ilmor 625's and Teague platinum drives. I've seen 123mph in ideal conditions and with 5 blade labbed mercs, but typically run 4 blade stock mercs to be easier on the drives and don't throw blades on the stock mercs (typically can see teens w/stock 4 blade props). Getting antsy and can't wait for the weather to finally break here in the east. Attachment 444392 Attachment 444393 Attachment 444394 |

Isn't that Coupe #1? I saw it in Powerboat mag, gorgeous colors and I love the coupe, great idea from my friend Bob Leach. The new Indy drive can handle up to 1000hp so you might soon see a bigger motor than the 710 to move up to. Stay tuned on this forum!!
This hull loves speed. Really doesn't start singing until about 110-115mph. 1k hp would be ridonkulous on this rig. |

Actually I believe the Colledgewood Coupe is #1, but mine was shortly after that (originally built for John Harrah, but I purchased it with 10 hours on it). The colors are similar, but slightly different (some tangerine and crushed pearl in mine).

Hi,
Just noticed this thread. Just picked up a 625. Going to put it in a 28 Magic Scepter cat. Where can I get parts, such as header gaskets, motor mounts etc. I looked on Ilmors site but there is no parts section. |
