I love my 710 powered Donzi!
I can't say enough about the good people at ILMOR
They have been so helpfull and always willing to help with my project. I am running well over 100 mph on gps and the acceleration is like no other boat I have driven! Its nice having a naturally aspirated engine with the relibility, with huge torque, and no blower or supercharger worries! |
Which Donzi do you have? That's fast!
Any pics or vids to share on this thread? Thanks |
Its a 22 classic, I will try to post some pics if my membership
allows. |

That ought to be a complete Monster, a real Jekyll and hyde machine... There was a 22 (correction: 18) known as Mighty Mouse with a wildly-built 400+ ci smallblock and an Arneson drive that ran somewhere north of 100. It was owned by George Desmond - a really nice guy. There are not many other hulls in that size range that I would attempt those sorts of speeds in. Drive safe, Speedy, and keep that vest and lanyard on! |
Yes, that boat was in the CT/ NY area abot 5 years ago, then he sold it. It had a 406 small block in it I believe. Pro-Charged, just about 1000 HP. It ran 120 MPH. Sick, sick, sick boat.

Mighty Mouse was an 18 foot donzi X18 model .
